I cant transfer anything over FTP to the PCH tried many different ways and no working solution, looks like an rights problem?
Downloading from the PCH over FTP to the PC works without Problems only writing over ftp is an problem#
First: FLaSH copies befor he trys FTP over externel USB HDD to the internal maybe the usb copy process change the rights on the files i will look into it.
Second: Ok i tried now also around and it is definitly an problem with pureftpd i had the way to test also with betaftpd and there are no permission problems, i can rename delete write to the internal hdd!
For me it looks like that the write optimization patch on pureftpd makes something wrong again.
The File RIGHTS are set correct but pureftp cant delte or rename or write.

needs more testing because didnt hear about such problems also syabas qa cant report on such issues?! i will try it tonight but maybe it is something wrong on your side but dont know what right now

No, here are no configuration problems as I can ftp to the IAMM without any problem.
I can ftp online too!
I think the USB copy routine has changed rights or something like that.
that sucks, I'm really unhappy about it, because both methods are having problems right now!!!

ic will try it out tonight i will check when i transfer over usb and then wanna transfer over ftp so i can then connect the hdd to my pc and look to the rights the usb copy made and also on ftp transfer side i hope i find an easy solution for you
an idea would be to chmod all files to the ftp user when you transfer files to it but let me first take an look on it.

I have tried to eliminate a possible problem, the router. I made a direct connection but it behaves the same.

Also bei mir traten keine Fehler auf. Habe es jetzt mehrfach getestet mit Total Commander sowie command-line ftp. Alles bestens. NMT -> PC wie auch PC -> NMT/[Video|Music|Photo].
Was nicht geht ist oberhalb von den 3 Verzeichnissen was zu schreiben. Da fehlen die nötigen Rechte.
Rechte auf Video, Music, Photo ist 777 also Fullrights.
Ja ich glaube auch nicht an eine fehlerhafte ftp Version, ich denke einfach irgendetwas hat mir die Zugriffsrechte verändert, komischerweise wird aber auch bei mir 777 gemeldet, auch allen Verzeichnissen. Evtl. muss ich wohl mal in den sauren Apfel beißen und die Festplatte neu formatieren, dann versuche ich erst gar nicht mit der USB Funktion zu kopieren.
Interessant wäre noch ob du auch schon die USB Kopierfunktion benutzt hast.

Wenn du mir sagst was du mir USB Kopierfunktion meinst, dann gerne.
Man kann von UBS Festplatten oder Sticks z.B. per Fernbedienung auf die interne Festplatte kopieren.
Mit "ANGLE" markieren und "TIME SEEK" kopiert dann.
